Her television debut was Dard which was in the same year and in Punjabi movie called Baghi Soormay in 1993. She is married to Shuja Ali and has two children. She is currently working in Bepannah from 2018 and her television career went for more than 15 years and is still counting. Sagufta became famous as Urvashi Singh from Saath Nibhana Saathiya. Some of her film projects are Laila Majnu, Hero No1, Mehndi etc.
